Hello everybody..
My name is Evren, I am 25,

I have Renault 19;
Year:2000
Engine: 1397 cc 8v carburetor
Engine Type: C2J-790
HP: 72
km: 92.000
It has LPG.

Price: about 5.300-5.400 Euro

and :) Not For Sale

Welcome to the RTC Forum.
Strange to read that your 19 was build in 2000, here in western europe production stopped in early 1996.
I know in other parts of the world the 19 was made untill 2002.
Anything worth doing is worth doing right!.

yes, i want it but, i don't have enough money :(
but i think two things :S
first one; convert to dual double barrel carburetor.
second one; convert to R5 GTT, so one barrel carburetor + turbo...

The production stopped in 2001 due to EU accession process. if EU didn't exist :) we have 2012 Renault 19 :)

is a 1.7 multipoint injection not a better choice? not as powerfull as a 1.4 T, but more reliable and a lot cheaper to maintain.

Personaly i like the gtt engine, simple and powerfull. But in the wrong hands easy to destroy. You have to know the engine, Standard always okay, but if there is a problem things could get bad quick.

I don't know 1.7 multi inj engine :S I'm sorry..
yes, i like to.. gtt engine is wonderful, very small but very powerfull.
my car's engine doesn't has a problem but it's too weak for me :)
and, i don't know but, i think my engine and gtt engine are same.. there is a small diffirent... my car has two barrel carburetor, gtt has one barrel carb + turbo, and, i think, my engine turns to gtt engine very easy :S but i don't know well :S

i can't believe that jour engine is the same as a r5 engine from 1986.

the 1.7 has 80 hp an and the multipoint 1.7 or the 1.8 has 98/110hp all in the r19

1.4 cc two barrel carburetor 8v
1.6 cc two barrel carburetor 8v
1.4 cc monopoint inj. 8v (1.4 energy)
1.6 cc multipoint inj.
and... F7P 1.8 turbo


this is gtt; C1J (784-788) 1.4 L (1,397 cc/85.3 cu in) turbo 8-valve
this is mine; C2J (790) 1.4 L (1,397 cc/85.3 cu in) 8-valve;
and i think, there are same engine. but i don't know exactly......

and "C" means Cleon engine,
"Number" means carburetor barrel
and "J" means 1.4 L (1397 cc/85 in³) from a 76mm (3.0") bore and 77mm (3.03") stroke

and there isn't any 1.7 R19 in turkey. Only R9 Flash and R21 Manager has 1.7 engine...

yes but there are a few.. i think, there are 3 or 5 R19 1.8 Turbo in Turkey... one of them crashed last year :(

The F7P was never turbocharged from the factory, so those few have been upgraded by the owners themselves (or a company offcourse).

We only could wish there was a factory standard turbo charged F7P, then we would have imported lot's of those :D
