A Question which has often cropped up down the local pub is Which Colour Renault 21 is the fastest?
Well here it is (as stole from jc)
Stating the fundamentals of quantum physics (or is it general relativity?). As black objects are black due to the absence of light, (in that they absorb all light wavelengths), as light approaches the black object, it is accelerated in the direction of that black object - in other words, the light is 'sucked in'. Therefore, when a black r21 is moving at speed, the lightwaves immediately in front of the car are sucked towards the black r21, having the effect to an observer at the side of the road that time is slowing down immediately in front of the car. Contrast this to the situation of a white r21 travelling at speed. As White objects reflect all colours of light, the Lightwaves immediately in front of a white r21 are reflected outwards, thus speeding up the lightwaves (and hence time) in front of this car. To the casual observer, the white r21 would appear to be travelling faster, thus irrefutably proves beyond doubt that indeed a white r21 is the fastest coloured motor. Now, if the Black r21 is travelling at a higher altitude than the white one is, the situation becomes even more complicated......
However, Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle, states that both the position and the velocity of a sub-atomic particle cannot be measured at the same time, only the one or the other. What conclusion can we reach. The act of the light-photon bouncing off the r21 subtly alters it's position in space, leading one to suspect that a white r21 would be more radically affected ( and thus we more uncertain of it's position/speed ). This of course would be relative to the outside observer and what is important is the perception of speed WITHIN THE R21. When approaching the speed of light of course we would actually get to there and back in a trice, whilst via "time dilation" the observer may well have grown old and died awaiting our return.

light is't sucked in a 21 because its painted black, but 'cause its phenomenal mass.
But surely now we know why a 21 driver only accerelates a little when you want so flash him to the right lane.

As any fan of Games Workshops' Warhammer 40K series knows, anything painted red is always faster. The Evil Sunz clan of Orcs IIRC paint all their vehicles red and they always seem to go faster. Or is it just that they're major modders?
