If you don't want to lower your Renault 19, or are not able to do this because of bad roads, you should consider fitting a front splitter.
By mounting such a front splitter your car will be optically lowered and the front will get a more agressive look.
The original phase II 16V front splitter doesn't look very good, so the best is to mount the front splitter of other Renault models, i.e. the first generation Renault Laguna (the one with the air intakes). It is also possible to use the front splitters of first generation Renault Megane or the current Renault Espace, but this one is a bit higher.
The splitters are fixed by normal screws (use at least 10 screws for a tight hold), that are mounted from below into the front bumper. Depending on the length of the splitter you will have to shorten it on both ends (don't cut it in the middle, you will always see the cutting spots).
Of wa is dan eigenlijk het verschil tussen die frontsplitter en de frontspoiler????? Want ik zie nog nie direct zagen in ne voorbumper...
Maar ik geraak er op den duur zelf nie meer aan uit...
