hi everybody ,
just joined the site ,i have a 1993 renault 19 1.8 rt spi with an F3P engine ,its a shame really that this engine gives only 95hp while the mpi version (renault 19/clio 1.8 rsi ) gives about 113 hp .
my question is ; would it be possible to convert my single point injected engine into a multi point injection??? and if its possible could you guys give me some ideas and more information on whats needed for this job please ?

I do have an idea about it. I've been thinking about the same for my clio. It looks real simpel but in reality it isn't. When our normal site is back online i'll search for the topic. but at this stage it doesn't work really well.
The main problem is in the differences of the heads. of both engine's. So the only option is to switch the complete engine. And if you do so, why don't you go further and put an F7R into it. (F7R is an 2.0 16v (williams/megane)

from 95 to 113 bhp is about +18bhp guys ,not bad if the conversion works properly ,i am not after massive power by the way .i just like my car so much as we all do and just want to get a decent power and torque as well as the economical gains of full inj system.
why are the heads different ?? they are both F3P engines ,as far as i know the ony diffrence is in the manifold, ecu, wiring loom and a few water hoses behind the head and they should all fit the head on my engine. i was thinking i could just put the mpi manifold on the head ,install the wiring loom of a mpi F3P engine (clio rsi/r19 1.8 rsi/laguna 1.8 8vmpi) and the other bits .
somebody must have thought and even done it before , i will be looking forward for your replies
