Ik heb een Clio RSi en ik zat te denken om er 16" onder te doen. Maar ik wil hem in de toekomst misschien ook verlagen. Iemand een idee?

Groeten,

Hi,

iŽll answer in english, i hope you understand it.
IŽm going to install OZ-Supertourismo in 7,5x16 with 37mm offset and US-Yokohama A520 in 205/40R16V on my Clio. I think this should work with some little modifications.
When you use the Dunlop SP9000 in 195/40R16 instead, you normally have only to modify the rear wheel-housing.

Hello,

I also wanted OZ Supertourismo in 7,5x16. But when I use the Dunlop SP9000 in 195/40R16 will it fit immediately? because my car is NOT lowered. And will 205/45R15 do?

Greets,

Dennis

Hi Dennis!

O.K. when your Car is not lowered, tires with a bigger diameter might have a better optic, because the wheel-housing i better filled. 205/45R16 are really big wheels! I think looks great, but could cause problems at the wheel-house inner panel when steering full angle.
But you can remodel the plastic parts with a hot air blower.
Another tire alternative would be 195/45R16.

How fast goes your RSI maximum?

Sorry, sorry I did read wrong... you wrote of 205/45R 15.
IŽve see this tire (I think itŽs only availible from Dunlop as SP2000/8000) on a Clio, yet, but I was very disappointed. It looks like a 195/50R15 when mounted on a 7x15 rim. You have only little advance with the 205/45 when you mount it on a 8" or 8,5" wide rim.
There you better take the 195/50R15 (150,-DM). ItŽs much cheaper (the 205/45R15 costs abot 275,- marks in germany) an so you can drive much more sportive, because you have no bad conscience of rubbing down the thread:wink:

Hi Seegi!,

It goes around 210 km/p hour
and the tire 195/50R15 will do just fine.
thanks for the advice.

I have seen your website and my clio comes also from oct. 1996. You said that the clio 16v bonnet doesn't fit on the phase III is that true?

Greets,

Dennis

Yes, thatŽs true. Because of the different shape of the lights the phase3 models have.
The 16V wasnŽt built as phase3. Only till 96.
