Hello All, I am new here.
Recently my 2005, 1.6L Gasoline Megane II is consuming more gas and it is getting slower and slower. i don't want to replace it, rather I want to fix it and make it better.
Now I thought about changing all injectors with new ones and doing an ECU reflash. But I then thought probably I can also add a performance chip to its ECU among other stuff...
Remember I don't want to do something "hardcore" like changing camshafts... just light performance modifications that can give me the best bang per buck.
Can anyone assist please?
Thanks
Making my 1.6L Megane II better...

I do not have money to buy another car, but I have few bucks to make some modifications on my 1.6L
Any Chips/ecu upgrade available for this car?
Any other light modifications I can do on this car?
Thanks

There's not much you can do to up the power in a simple way.
If your car is getting slower and consuming more gasoline, I bet there's something wrong with it, maybe a faulty Lamdba sensor.
I'd get it looked at, there's a good chance the car will drive a lot better and more economical when it's repaired.

Maybe a stuffed catalyc converter?
