Past plans and ideas for styling, maybe 3, 4 years ago, but I’ll never do it for sure, just a thought:

A year ago this was my project, removing the Renault sign from the front mask:

Rear 16V spoiler removed, I like the look without it, maybe I’ll make a new one in a future:

While I was making front debadged mask, I had a nonserious accident but luckily I had no damage on a car, because I hit a guy in a Golf 3 GTI with my right front which was already damaged  Literally, my damage is only the smallest plastic strip on a front wing. Besides that, right front bumper carrier broke but I glued it back with a bit of melting a plastic and then fiberglassing it. The biggest problem was that I was guilty and I paid around 600eur for a damage on a stupid Golf. His left wheel gone 10 degrees inside and his bumper, wing and hub also broke. I couldn’t believe when I saw that car. It was in a perfect shape beside that front left part I smashed. That damage put me out from styling from over 4 or 5 months because that amount of money is enough for my style of living in Serbia for 3 or 4 months. F..kin’ sh..t, what else could I say. Another lucky thing is that then I had my winter wheels on. They were ok, but his alloy wheel bended. If I had my Borbets then I’ll be still crying now I guess. Problem was in doors that I hit again and I couldn’t open them more than half way. Yeah, also my sideskirt cracked a little but I glued it also without problems. Two months ago I finally had money and bought both right doors, of course secondhand, all parts from all 4 doors, all with glass, front wing, all together for 70eur 

That’s ENOUGH from me for today, theres a lot explanations, small fiberglass projects and pictures I got but I did all this text now and have to relax for a day or two, when I’ll post some more…

Greetings to all in Holland, Germany, England… where R19 are popular and of course to rest of the people of Europe and wider. By by, Igor from Belgrade, Serbia

Chapter 2!!!

Six months ago I started to think how to modify my standard bumpers, because I had a plan to sort all problems with body and repaint the whole car during summer. Had one idea how could front bumper look and two or three ideas for rear. I was gonna do it by myself with fiberglass and plastic so it had to be simple and cheap solution, easy to make.

What I had in my head for the front bumper? Well, if I want to do it at all, it should look something like this:

Standard: Modified:

What was an idea for the rear one? Well…

Standard: Modified 1st: Modified 2nd:

Also, before summer I shaved the rear end, debadged it, delocked it and removed boot spoiler.

Then I had a plan to install some keyless door central locking and opening, to remove all handles and locks from the doors, but for now it’s not gonna happen…

Here are some pictures of engine bay with those new air filters and modified air hose.

Earlier I had several different wheels because I wanted to find the right ones. First I had standard 6,5x15” 16V alloy wheels with 195/50 and 205/50 tyres:
http://img1.exs.cx/img1/6900/r9jfelna15.jpg

MS Design MSDR1 7,5x16” et25 with 195/45 tyres:

Alessio 7x15“ et 40 with 195/50:

OZ Volcano 7x17“ et40 with 205/40:
http://img220.imageshack.us/img220/1091/17ice3yf5.jpg
http://img233.imageshack.us/img233/5628/17ice2oh0.jpg

ATS Planet 7x16” et 36 with 215/40:
http://img53.imageshack.us/img53/4792/16ice1el2.jpg

and finally - Borbet RST17 9x16 et30 with 215/40:
http://img280.imageshack.us/img280/2364/borbet0ro.jpg

If I ever change these Borbets it could only happen if I find OZ Supertourismo 7x17“:
http://www.ltdmx5.com/images/mazda_mx5_ ... heel_6.jpg

Several months ago I saw some new model OZ 7x17“ and had to try on a car:

Dimensions are ok but colour is discutabile, because it was already dark

There are some art pictures, I think that only I can park my car like this, several times:

After all this tries and plans and versions about styling, I started serious thinkings. First, I removed eyebrows from headlights. Then I removed foglights from the bumper.

http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o13/ ... G_9064.jpg
http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o13/ ... G_9061.jpg

In these pictures you can see that the rear of my car is much higher then front. I have to lower the torsion bar so the front and rear could look like same hight. Also, if you look at the rear left little glass it’s darker. I tried to tint it with a foile to see how it looks. That also entered the future plans for a summer.

Finally, I started the modifications. Bumpers of and gone into the basement. The look of the car frightens even me, I can imagine how is it to people in the city when I drive by.

In June, I started to work on a rear bumper but I didn’t decide yet how it’s gonna look. I knew that I want it to be around 7, 8cm lower than standard, so I took my tools and cut the motha f...er. I’ve cut only the lower part of outer part of the bumper and tried how it looks like that.

One more idea for a rear bumper:

Work continues. I was looking around the car and thought again about front bumper, how it’s gonna match to a car. And in all that thinking decided to cut it also.

You can see how I work, in what condicions, I have about 7, 8 square meters in a basement and just enough air to breathe and swet.

Chapter 3:

After two weeks I continued working on a front bumper because my car was extremely ugly without it. So, I prepared both bumpers for fiberglassing, because it’s faster and easier to work on both of them, while one’s hardening I’m fiberglassing the other one.

Then it was time to try them on car itself:

Special picture with my friend and his Clio. We worked together on his front bumper. It’s made practically the same way like I’m making mine now. His bumper was hit in small accident and we tried to make something out of it and it looks amazing on Clio now.

I’ve finished fiberglassing front bumper and started to sand it and filler it and sand it and filler it…….many times in a circle

I had some health problems during summer so I couldn’t work in a basement. That’s why I decided it’s time to tint windows. Good thing is that I bought one more set of door glasses earlier with doors…

Chapter 4:

After that I visited front bumper again and in two hours finished with filler and all the sanding and finished it with a primer. It looks like this now:

Here you can see me working like that Indian Lipu from Bangla Bangers or Chop Shop TV shows, designing new front for my Chamy…

I bought new wheel air valves with Renault 3D caps…

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w206 ... ventil.jpg
http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w206 ... kapica.jpg

And here is the final look of a tinted windows:

A month ago I was driving alone and set for a while in my car and took some pictures:

Soon after that the time for bumper trying has arrived:

Rear bumper still waits to be worked on:

Now, two new ideas for rear showed:

One more idea for the frontal look, a badlook:

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w206 ... -look2.gif

Then a first riding with new bumper was made, and rain had fall and it’s still in one piece:

Here you can see stainless cover on a steering wheel ‘cause horn is not here as you all know:

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w206 ... sirena.jpg

This racing aluminum sticker gone with the wind straight to garbage:

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w206 ... ervoar.jpg

Again, new ideas for a rear bumper and probably the final version of them:

Photoshooting not that long ago with standlight LEDs:

Standard Lights H1 Osram +50% White:

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w206 ... G_0367.jpg

A little joke with new doors, I’ll never put those Lambo style doors but let’s see how it looks:

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w206 ... G_0540.jpg
http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w206 ... G_0543.jpg
http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w206 ... G_0544.jpg
http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w206 ... G_0548.jpg
http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w206 ... G_0565.jpg

Front right door changed, yet rear right door and front right wing have to be changed also.

Last week I’ve changed front discs and pads by myself, first time a mechanical work…

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w206 ... G_0593.jpg
http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w206 ... G_0647.jpg
http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w206 ... G_0671.jpg

Front discs started to squeeze and rattle so I had to change them, I didn’t have enough money and time to wait for a bigger discs, pads and calipers… sadly:

Also I planned these headlights from Russia, not very pricey though… and they are from Lada or VAZ 2113/2114/2115, and shape of them is very similar to a Renault headlights, aren’t they?

Finally, a few days ago I bought these Xenon lights for under 100eur for all you can see in this picture, 4 ballasts, 6 H1 6000K bulbs and plus 4 new 12V cables and 4 new connectors male/female for those cut ballast cables:

I can’t wait to install them and see how they work in a headlights that don’t have lenses

It is a pity that you can read Dutch. An open aifilter will reduce the power-output of your car.

Bumpers are still waiting in a basement, but with a reason, I had some sweet torture...
Yesterday I've installed xenons but just for a main lights...
You can see the difference between Osram Cool Blue on the left and 6000K xenons on the right:

And when I installed and turned on both xenons in a dark alley...:

Here it is in a "real-life", you can barely see the high lights when they are turned on with xenon at the same time:

Here I am again... I was in USA last summer for 6 months and my Chamade stood still, parked in front of my building. When I came back I wanted to sell it, but till now noone wanted it so I am starting (or finishing) it again.

I couldn't do anything with my torsion 'cause it's seized, all rusty... so in a few days I will probably find some good and not much expensive workshop for my car. I will have to change rear arches and probably lower side panels (under the doors) and then I will think about a new colour for my baby :-)

For those last few months I bought some things for my R19:

I didn't do anything new with my bumpers in the last year, but I will finish them soon. I already have new original front bumper, still looking for a rear one. So, when I repaint the whole car I will have 2 sets of bumpers, originals and my creations :bang:

Tires are used and that was only for trying, just for 2 days, now I am on 14" steel rims with winter tires on them

Greetings from Belgrade, Serbia :hello:
