Projects so far:
Fix rust at windscreen and other places (not to bad i think)
Find new seats (bucket seats)
Find Rollcage
Find Coilover (adjustable)
New side markers
Find Strutbracer(s)
Strip interior (not all of it)
Respray Proably in same colour (for the easy ness, else in Audi Nimbus grey like my R19 )
Fit the volvo engine from my R19
Fit frontbrakes from R19
Find new rear brake disks

bought it for 3000 dkr (arround 400€) (very cheap in denmark. the GT-Turbo's are going for arround 4000€)
The gearbox was suposed to be dead and the cluch to, the shifter wass all lose.. Sorted that out in 1 hour.. the litle balljoint in the end of the shifter in close to the gearbox was broken because the cluch wouldnt let go, and then it has been forced in to gear.. Easy fix

The seats were made by the second owner im the fourth, the third didnt do annything to it, only take it apart to take the gearbox out.. but didnt get that far..) the seat looks like SHIT!!! ) the first and second owner did aa very BODGED job to everything they did to it.. so there is PLENTY of work on it.. Anny one who has a Front bumper (phase 2) and a Radiator grille perhappes? and maybees some Rear Arches (ph1) Gonna make one BASTARD car.. and perhapes a RED carpet?

Got a little further with the car, had it for at testdrive though it only has 94 hp its quite rappid..
until it startede to get hot and only fire on 3 cylinders (se above why) BTW Why do you put 3 different spark plugs in one car!?! there was One NKG one Valeo and two Chapions...

havnt fixed anny rust yet, but will get on it soon. mountede one of the two new seats, and binned the rear seats totaly, they looked horrible

The boot lid is binned, left front wing needs replacing, and rear shock absorbers are fucked too

Yeah they are, but they are to big, its 17's just to se how big they were.. They are actualy for my R19 Turbo.. hehe see it under tuning.

They are Momo Corse Black, 7,5" x 17" ET35 they will fit a R19 like a glove

Hi!
I think of buying a r5 gte in a bit better condition like this one was. But my plans are to keep it original only minor tuning modifications... It costs arond 200€- that`s cheap.
So becouse I dont know the history of the car, can someone please tell me which things I have to keep an eye on?(especially the engine)
The bodywork doesn`t bother me-I`ll replace the everything if needed...
And some usefull links would be nice
