Newbie from RTOC!

Hi all,

I'm Mike and i'm an RTOC member looking for a fresh forum,looks like i've found one here!

I have a 1988(phase 2) 5GTT in silver with 99.9% BB Tuning parts. She's 207.6 bhp and 222lb/ft torque @23psi !! I prefer the original look with a nice not too low stance with everything uprated for better performing parts.

When i find out how,i'll upload some pics and a spec list of my 5. Well done on a great club/forum and i look forward to chatting with you all!

Hi, welcome here!

We use Nm and Bar for the specs.

These are very nice numbers!

23 psi = 1,5 bar for the people who are going to ask

What have u done to gain that mutch power, and still use the Carb.

Is injection the next upgrade?

There you go,that should explain things a little better!

And injection is a concideration,but i need more proof that it is actually worth all that expence,because it is really expencive!

mike, at BB it's expensive, we've got a club sponsor over here that does it for a quarter of BB's price.

1,5 bar gives 226 pk (210 pk wheels) torque 320 Nm.

Might not seem impressive, but with your current setup I know they can get a lot more out of it!

that looks awesome,the kit looks well designed(whatg i've seen so far over here looks a little shabby!!)

I would really like to get more information on this,do you know if they supply and fit the fuel injection?? I thinking of possibly driving over to them and leaving the car with them to do the work,would this be possible?? I'm VERY interested!!

you can just contact them, they're normally quick in response (but not the next 2 weeks as they are on holliday)

Maurice (from MB) is a very nice guy and MB has got a wonderfull product range for our old reno's

. Unfortunatly I have to wait about 12 weeks for a samco hose kit for my williams but that is because of the English people who make it

Tom,i've been into VW's for about 18years and only 1 year with the R5GTT and the one thing that has allways been the same is the SERIOUSLY LONG WAITING TIME for Silicon hoses! Weather it's Samco or SFS,no matter what make of car you allways have to wait a longe time for them.I waited 3 monthes for my SFS's

Yes but only a couple,there very rare over here!
