The making of Ali G in da house
As a testament to our capabilities we were asked, by a very large film company, to build a one off Renault 5 GT Turbo which was used by Ali G in his new feature film "Ali G in da house". We only had 4 weeks to complete the car as well as build a dummy car that was to be sprayed with graffiti. Both cars started as rusty grey 5s and are now set to be the most famous 5s in the country.

Filming took place over several days with the cars being moved between several locations for the shooting. It was amazing to see the sheer amount of people involved in such a production and the degree of organisation necessary to make sure everything goes to plan and within budget! Overall it was hard work but rewarding. The cast and crew were great with Sasha (Ali G) showing an interest in the cars and making everyone laugh.

Complete re-spray in Ford Zinc yellow, Bad boy bonnet, de-locked, de-badged, KTR Alloy adjustable rear spoiler, Lower rear spoiler blended onto tailgate, KTR front grille, de-seamed and modified bumpers, KTR clear front indicator and removed side repeaters.
Interior/ICE
Cobra Daytona seats with K-Tec logo and shortened sub frames (because Ali G is quite tall), Colour coded dash and all interior plastic mouldings, Vinyl covered door cards, KTR Blue dials, Racing steering wheel, alloy pedals, gearknob, gearlever and handbrake gaitors, KTR/Racing chrome gearlever surround, KTR Alloy handbrake handle, Sabelt 4 point harnesses, subtle stereo install.
