Megane RS 265

Hi everyone, well after leaving the Renault brand a few years ago, some may recognise my old R26 now owned by Tom (Adinsx),

I decided to get a new Megane RS 265 and yesterday I went to pick it up from
VKV in Gorinchem, (thanks AnthonyR). From the moment they pulled the cover off I haven't been able to stop looking at it:-) The colour is fantastic!!!! Jaune Sirius.

Feels great to drive but first I will be driving slower for the 1000km

Zijn vorige naam was BlackR26 als ik het goed heb. Daar vind je ook zijn eerste topic terug m.b.t. mijn R26.

I'm very happy with the recaros and they are pretty comfortable too. Expensive option though!

Today was spent in Goes getting a Fastchip remap custom made from Henk.
Great result and a great difference in power!! 271.7 ATW

And since Friday lowered on H&R springs it has since dropped a bit more in the front so its now sitting better.

Actually the car isnt washed. Its really dirty close up. Hopefully next week:-)

Not missing the RS4 at all. The megane is way more focused in the bends and generally nicer to drive. The acceleration is brutal now in the megane so now its finished and i can enjoy it

Eh.. Jo or some of the other guys have a nice calculating for that.
Your R26 had 234 Wheelhp ([ur=http://i263.photobucket.com/albums/ii15 ... 80717.jpgl]graphic here[/url]) That should be arround 265 crank hp.

271 is about 40 more, so 300+?

Apparently a guy over on meganesport had a print that stated his made 262 atw which was 308 pk at the 'krukas'. Guess mine did pretty well.

With my GTI i had 277 Wheelpower/307 Engine Power. So a difference of 30 hp.

My RS even had 276.9bhp ATW after the remap in Goes, my car is lowered with H&R now too! Happy boy here.

It is fast indeed. With my new Megane RS (expected March) i also go to fastchip (looking forward to it) and will also have a run on the dyno @Fastchip and later @JD Engineering.

Very Nice RS, congratulations!!

Calculation of Henk/Fastchip (as he told me);

271.7 x 1.08+15hp= about 308HP.

Judging by other megane 3 rs owners results I think that sounds about right.
Today it got a wash and polish after the long drive back to amsterdam from Goes:-)
