Does anyone know why the handbrake light would be flashing intermittantly on the dashboard? The handbrake works fine but it is flashing now..Might check my fluid but is this connected to this light???
Is it flashing in a constant rythm or is it flashing, euh... weird?
It might be a connector problem on the handbrake-sensor then, check it.
If it is flashing constantly .... well never heard it never seen it, you got a strange car
Bye!

Well, it has been told to you already on the Renault19.com forum.
It's probably your brake fluid level sensor or it's connector is dodgy.
Might be time to check the brake fluid as well, perhaps it's getting old and full of water.
Or if it's bothering you, take the dash out, remove the bulb and you will probably end up with no brakes at all.....

Topped up the fluid and light has now gone out. Used penrite dot 4 fluid. If anyone is interested?
